Days of fun on the slopes are not far from 145 Front’s downtown Worcester apartments.

With winter in full swing it’s time to hit the slopes! Here’s where to go!

Wachusett Mountain Ski Area
With 27 trails served by eight lifts, Wachusett Mountain is great for everyone from beginners to pros. Whether you prefer to ski or snowboard, there are plenty of slopes to spend the day on. Beginner, group, and private lessons are also available to brush up on your skills.

Located in Princeton, MA, Washcusett Mountain is only a 30-minute drive from 145 Front’s downtown Worcester apartments. Being so close, you can drive up for the day or make a weekend trip out of it and explore more of the trails.

Ski Ward Ski Area
Ski Ward is only a 15-minute drive from 145 Front making it perfect for a day trip. This is a smaller skiing area with something for everyone. It’s open all year round and offers nine trails and four lifts for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. There are also eight tubing lanes approximately 800 feet long with a 75-foot vertical drop.

It’s also a great place to learn how to ski or snowboard at their snow school with more than a hundred instructors teaching private and group lessons. After a long day in the cold, head back to 145 for more indoor winter fun.
